You’ll want to optimize your campaign once its been running for a while. Find out whats working and what isn’t and fix them and try to increase conversions.

Both an SEO tool and competitor reaserch tool Ahrefs is well known and more importantly respected within the industry.


Screaming frog can be used to carry out complete audits of your own site to make sure everything is working properly and even allows you to crawl your competitors site to learn about their on page SEO.

Keyword Research.

Keyword research is essential for both paid and organic campaigns. Using keywords that nobody is searching for or keywords that aren’t relevant to your offer isn’t going to help you much. So it’s important to get the right keywords for targeting the right people.

Keyword research tools are one of your strongest allies when it comes to online marketing as choosing the right keywords will ensure you get your ads in front of the right people as well as helping you keep costs down.

Not all tools will give you the same solutions so you should use at least 2 of them.

Google Keyword Planner.

Of course Google itself has to be mentioned here. If you’re running Google Ad campaigns you’ll definitely want to be using this one. Try to keep your costs down by finding keywords with a high search volume and low competition (Easier said than done, right?).


KWFinder is great for finding long string key words specifically. Long string keywords are great for organic SEO as people tend to write questions directly into google.


A free tool that will give you more suggestions for keywords whether its SEO or a PPC campaign.

Aside from these software tools there are also a number of excellent forums out there centred around affiliate marketing or just making money online generally you can use these to network with people whether it be finding prospects, products or people to work with. These forums are full of useful information by other people in the same sphere.
